IF you installed the SDK find all that in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\config

make a text file with notepad and build the entries along these lines:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">

<Descr>Launch</Descr>

<Filename>EXE.xml</Filename>

<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<Launch.ManualLoad>True</Launch.ManualLoad>

<Launch.Addon>

<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>

<Name>Addon Application</Name>

<Path>C:\MyPath\Addon.exe</Path>

<CommandLine></CommandLine>

<NewConsole>True</NewConsole>

</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

24.3% of FSX users do not have the exe.xml file. You do not need it. One of the programs I know that uses this xml is FSDT or FlightBeam or BluePrint. It cannot be rebuilt (the dll.xml cannot be rebuilt either; only the fsx.cfg).

Hi Steve,

Yes, it is extremely important to be as accurate as possible when providing advice and assistance. Unfortunately, 44.7% of the time my advice is wrong and another solution is found by someone else. But I try...
