May 4, 200521 yr Hi all. A month or two ago I developed a problem with my local airport whereby the aircraft were 50 meters away from the terminal and the taxiways and runways were not lying where they should.I posted a message here, but unfortunately the fix suggested was a bit complicated (FSUIPC stuff) and to this day the problem remains..But that's not the issue of this post. I uninstalled FS, Ultimate Traffic and PMDG, and started again. The problem above still remains but I can live with it, however I'm now stuck with the "help" messages to push "B" to reset my altimeter, and to push "X" as the fuel in the centre tank is critically low. Also the tags for the UT aircraft do not display departure and arrival airports, though they do show height, aircraft type etc.I've checked and double/triple checked the settings in FS and UT, and they are repectively off for hints in FS and on for UT. But regardless of this, I'm still getting "helpful" hints and no departure/arrival airports on the UT tags.If anyone can offer a solution to this issue I would be very grateful. To the best of my knowledge I've checked and done all the obvious stuff before posting here, but the whole uninstall/install thing caused a great deal of stress and there may be something else I've missed in between the yelling and (almost) kicking of the cat!CheersTim
May 4, 200521 yr To get the UT flightplan showing (depart and arr airports) goto your FS9.cfg and edit the following section[AContain]ShowLabels=0ShowUserLabel=0ShowLabelManufacturer=0ShowLabelModel=1ShowLabelTailNumber=0ShowLabelDistance=0ShowLabelAltitude=1ShowLabelAirline=0ShowLabelAirlineAndFlightNumber=1ShowLabelFlightPlan=1 <<<---- change this line to "1"ShowLabelContainerId=0ShowLabelAirspeed=0ShowLabelHeading=0LabelDelay=1000LabelColor=FFFF0000Turn off and on (0 or 1) whatever you need.
