November 20, 201411 yr Hi I am trying to use a POSKY 777 which is apparently configured for P3D. However the lighting in the VC is so bright that the dials cannot be seen, and the external lighting is that bright you can see through the fuselage, and detail on the tail is totally illegible. Does anyone know how to tone down the brightness at all in this aircraft? cheers Ian Ian S

November 21, 201411 yr Hi Ian, As suggest you can turn OFF HDR. Or you can dial down the bloom glow a little using this: \ShadersHLSL\PostProcess\HDR.HLSL Line 10-13: static const float BloomThreshold = 03.25f; static const float BloomMagnitude = 03.75f; static const float BloomBlurSigma = 1.5; static const float TimeDelta = 4.0f; Make sure you delete your shaders folder prior to running P3D: i.e. C:\Users\Rob\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\Shaders The increasing BloomBlurSigma reduces the brightness of the glow. As far as the POSKY 777 I didn't see any mention of it supporting P3D v2.x? Perahps it only supports P3D V1.x? Cheers, Rob.
November 21, 201411 yr Author H'mm, no good I'm afraid. The VC is still unusable at night. Thanks anyway. Ian Ian S
November 21, 201411 yr I had the same issue a while back and no joy in getting it to work. Have same issue with Ifly 747 where the glass guages do not work.
