UTX V2 v's FTX Vector

Featured Replies

I am just about to take the plunge on Global and of course would add Vector to it.

Been considering this for some time but now that UTX v2 has been released I am

having second thoughts. it would be interesting if those who have purchased both

Vector and UTX V2 offered up opinions as to which is the better of the two with some details as to why.

UTX V2 compliments all of the orbx products - at least until Orbx US Landclass comes out - have you seen my screenshots - pretty cool at a great price

have you seen my screenshots

Yes I have Richard. They are Super!

Doesn't UTX V2 and FTX Vector Do the same thing?

i.e. accurately position Roads, Bridges, Railroads, Coastlines, waterways etc. or an I missing something?

Sorry Dave at work - no vector is not landclass - landclass products tells where textures and buildings etc. should go and also adds all of those items when you buy it - Orbx is developing Their own landclass program as they did with Euro version all ready released but I would assume its going to be some time before the US landclass will be launched so this for me was a no brainer

Dave, if its global coverage then FTX Global+FS Global+Vector is the best option. I just got vector, here are few screens. I am not sure what Open LC will add to this.

UTX includes urban landclass. This is why its different in some respects to Global Vector.

UTX and Vector both provide accurate (with degrees of difference)  roads, bridges, railroads, coastlines and waterways

Open LC adds in both urban and rural landclass.
