November 26, 201411 yr Hello: I am having trouble installing a GeForce GT730 Video card. I have removed all drivers from my previous video card, installed the card, but when I boot my PC I get the standard Black & White Gateway screen, but windows never boots. . I thought it might have been the card, so I bought a new one, but same result. My system is a Gateway DX4870-UB21P, Intel5; I'm running Win7. If for some reason, this card is incompatible with my system, how do I pick a card I know will run with my system / motherboard? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Dave
November 26, 201411 yr Check gpu requirements and check if your computer have those... most likely power supply. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/321897-33-power-supply-gateway-dx4860-ub21p good luck Alex C https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqT3Oe3qlHHZ3A0hIJguEIw
November 26, 201411 yr Author Thanks but I don't think so. I have a 500W power supply and I took it into Best Buy and they tried it with a 600W power supply and same result. My last video card actually required its own power supply connection, my new one doesn't even require that.
