November 28, 201411 yr I'm trying to re download the Airbus Series Vol 1 Deluxe at Wilco but I'm getting a message saying: "An error occurred while getting the requesting content. Please contact the store owner." What's the problem? Ken.
November 28, 201411 yr Did you purchase it through the wilcopub.com store site? How many downloads are remaining in your account? I think the default is 10 downloads. Once you have the issue settled may I suggest you purchase an external HD and transfer all your downloads and keys onto it for future installations, it will save you the time and hassle of having to contact the retailers. November 28, 201411 yr I use DVDs for monthly incremental backups, and the external drive for a complete clone of my internal HD (quarterly). That way, no reinstallations will be required, just 'cloning the clone' to a brand new internal drive. Just an idea. What happened to AVSIM

November 28, 201411 yr That's a great idea Oliver, have you ever had to use the clone to restore your installation? Not yet, I only started with my external drive earlier this year and my internal HDD seems to be quite healthy. After a new cloning I check the "new" USB drive to see whether my PC actually recognizes it as a substitute for the internal drive - that's basically it for me to ensure a restoration would work when needed. A positive side effect so far has been a freeware installer which overwrote some of my default marker sounds (OM, MM, IM): Much quicker to simply plug in the external drive and copy the original files back, than to figure out some sort of repair or to check which CAB file on the FSX DVDs contains the required sounds. Pls. note that some external drive offers include a limited edition of Acronis True Image already, so it may not even be necessary to buy a separate ATI licence for cloning. What happened to AVSIM
November 29, 201411 yr Author Yes, it was purchased through the Wilcopub.com website and there are still downloads left on the account. I have an external drive but I couldn't find the download. They need to do their job and get the link to working. Ken.
November 30, 201411 yr There is a support form that you can fill out at the bottom of the page in the link below, have you tried that? http://www.wilcopub.com/technicalassistance/ \Robert Hamlich/
December 1, 201411 yr Author Yes, and they're looking into it. By the way, I finally found the file I was looking for. It was on my old external drive. I think what is happening is that they have deleted the old version and I happened to notice that they no longer have the Airbus deluxe vol 1 Series. They have the Evolution Series that one can purchase. One can either purchase the upgrade, which is $16.00, and add it to the Airbus Deluxe Series, or purchase the full version, which is $24.00. But the old version Deluxe Series must be un-installed before installing the new full version Evolution Series. Ken.
December 1, 201411 yr That's good. I still have the Airbus Series Vol 1 Deluxe Edition in my downloadable product, not sure why it isn't available in your account. Anyway glad you are getting it sorted out. \Robert Hamlich/
December 12, 201411 yr That's a great idea Oliver, have you ever had to use the clone to restore your installation? Update: Used the cloning procedure to migrate FSX from my old internal drive to a bigger one: Cloned the old disk to the external drive. Fiddled in the 2nd internal disk. Cloned the external drive to the new HDD. Disconnected the USB drive and reformatted the old HDD - PC was now "new HDD only". Works as expected, except for some licence activations which work via hardware keys - and some addons now detect a different hardware key due to the 2nd drive installed: FSX, LVLD and LHS LHBP, for example. Need to check more addons, but so far it looks like only a couple of additional reactivations are needed. Oh, and the Microsoft activation servers were still running yesterday evening!
