Entering Control Zones

Recommended Posts

Hi simmers,

i planned a vfr flight from Bremerton (KPWT) to Black Diamond (95WA) via the Seahawk-Transition Seattle (KSEA) to check out how VOXATC will handle this.

After departure VOXATC offered flight following, what was accepted. But nothing happened while flying towards the Seattle control zones (even no entry in enroute menu). So i passed Seattle area without any disturbance by ATC.

What did I do wrong ? (beside my english)

Ralf

Ralf,

"i planned a vfr flight from Bremerton (KPWT) to Black Diamond (95WA) via the Seahawk-Transition Seattle"

What was the route (FSX flight plan)?

Were you given a squawk code and crossing altitude (like 1500 or 2000) for KSEA airspace?

What was your cleared to dep alt?

What (which) VFR chart did you use which shows the Seahawk-Transition (crossing E-W north of the KSEA runways) ?

Did Voxatc know about the Seahawk-Transition (by name)?

Interesting ... I may try it.

Vaughan,

the planned route was KPWT, KSEA, 95WA loaded as FSX flight plan.

After departing and being handled by the KPWT Tower voxatc told me "fly the flight plan". There were no options in the enroute menu until reaching 95WA ("contact Destination"). Alt 2.500 ft.

Voxatc did not recognize KSEA control zones.

The seahawk-Transition ist shown on skyvector/Seattle-TAC in Magenta
