Are Hawaiian Airports from FSDT a cause for OOMs in P3D V2.x?

Featured Replies

It's either Accu-Feel or Hawaiian Airports I'm pretty sure since I've yet to have an OOM including full x-country flights in P3D 2.2 until I installed these two apps just in the past week.  Now it's a regular occurrence, and I'm nowhere near Hawaii for these events.

Aircraft used in MSFS 2024:  Fenix A320,  Aerosoft CRJ, FBW, WT 787X, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, Citation Longitude.

I don't use P3D, but in FSX, I go to my settings, go to the addon scenery section and disable sceneries I don't use. Addon airports load even though you're nowhere near them, increasing VAS. I know it can be annoying, but it helps a LOT.

Hope this helps!

I have Aerosoft PHNL and Hawaiian Airports vol (the one with PHOG) in P3D 2.4 and no problems.

I did have problems with some freeware Hawaii scenery, but I don't think it was P3D compatible.

Thanks y'all.  I'd best try uninstalling the airports and slew across country.  If I get an OOM I can try uninstalling Accu-Feel too!

Thanks Phillip.  That's a thought but I can say w/ certainty, even w/ tons of add on scenery (FTX regionals and a few airports) I get nowhere near OOM (stays above a GB always until now) so disabling this set it seems wouldn't have much impact.  Must be some kind of memory leak near as I can tell.

Hmm... maybe something went wrong during the installation process. Did you try re-installing? And did you check to see if the addons are compatible with P3D?
