UGA are a group of AI fanatics, whose main objective is to fill the void in the AI skies which other FS AI groups have overlooked, corporate and general aviation.There are flightplans for 992 aircraft operating over 14,000 weekly sectors. Fleet operators such as Hyannis Air Services, Eagle Canyon, Freight Runners Express, Skyventure and the Malaysian Air Force are covered. Air Taxi operators and Private owners from every part of the globe are included with fixed call signs are included (where appropriate) to add even more reality.The pack includes a huge number of real repaints, as well as 117 generic schemes so that no AI aircraft is without a repaint.Henry Tomkiewicz has reworked his original models for this package. The new models have 7 levels of detail, to improve AI performance in FS, new gear animations and subtle changes to the texture mapping. Existing repaints are unaffected by these changes, and will still work.

I'm a noob at AI tinkering but this looks like the perfect complement to UT???Question?Is the point of Ultimate GA to replace the existing default traffic?This is the "second" package; is the intent to fill the default skies with better GA traffic by updating one plane at a time...? It sounds as though each "package" is one plane type? How many plane types will be released over time?

HiIt is our intention to cover all GA and Corporate aircraft, from the small Cessnas right up to the big Gulfstreams.The default stuff is not very good and we'd love to replace it all. At the moment, we have a few suitable AI models to use, but it isn't even the tip of the iceberg.GA and Corporate traffic accounts for just over 60% of real world flights, so we have a long way to go.We do need everybodys help, that's repainters or modellers. If anybody thinks they can help, mail me [email protected] are also extremely important, so our first dedicated GA afcads will be released very soon.www.UltimateGA.com

I can't wait for more packages! Just finishing up the summer plans that are out, and my airports are already jammed!! Go-arounds galore too. Oh well, seeing biz jets in the skies is well worth it. Thank you for your work! I only know how to tweak afcads, manually install plans, but I'd love to help in some way. Don't know anything about repainting or modelling, sorry!

Based on UGA progress thusfar, it looks like we can anticipate about 1 package/plane every 2 months or so?Is the idea to delete the default AI GA traffic and eventually replace all GA traffic with these models? Incidently, is there a way to delete only the default GA traffic? I'm a noob and am excited about getting some good traffic...

Hi,http://www.projectai.com/packages/installer.php is a good place to start if you don't like the default traffic anymore. You find help to delete default traffic and you can download complete airline packages, they are easy to install. These packages and the ones from Ultimate GA will give you plenty of traffic.Ralf
