January 1, 201511 yr Hi I have got MS:FSX Gold edition installed. I followed the installation instructions and verified it is compatible with the Gold version. However when I try to run it from the aircraft screen, FSX just crashes to desktop. Its the version on the main page of his site: http://indiafoxtecho.blogspot.co.uk/ Any suggestions?
January 1, 201511 yr Administrators I have tried that aircraft and was fairly impressed with it. Since I have only FSX with SP1 and SP2, it lacked reheat capability and it would cause my Sim to crash on occasions. I finally found a Dino F-14 that works perfectly on my system, so that's the one I use for carrier landing practice. Check your computer's error logs to see what faulting module is causing your problems. January 1, 201511 yr Author Hi there Thanks for the suggestion, there doesn't seem to be anything recorded in the error logs that I can see (I found them by opening Event Viewer in W7). I don't get any error message, it just simply closes FSX. Are those the right logs to be checking? EDIT right ok its my fault. I reinstalled FSX On this machine a few weeks back and obviously didnt get round to putting the acceleration DVD on. Apologies!
