May 18, 200521 yr hello folks out there im wondering on the in house flight planner can you pick the route that you want to go , what i mean is after i generate a flight plan through FSNAV i then want to put the same plan into fs9 flight planner , is there a easier way to to do this.i know i do not have to use the flight planner but there is a reason for this.i use radar contact and i wont fly without it, but there are times that it will go on the blink and stop working, and i have been on a long flight, and as a back up i want to put in the same flight plan in fs9 that i have in fsnav, and most times in my virtual airline they will assign me a flight plan to load into my ATR , or PMDG 737 fmc, so first i will put the flight plan into fsnav, and then put in the plan into the fmc, and know as a back up i want to put it in the fs9 flight planner, is there an easier way to do this than tring to find the waypoint.i know that you put in your departure and then your arrival , and then i will choose iFR and then load a flight plan, but the waypoints are differant from FS9, is there a easier way to choose the same waypoints that i want than tring to look for them on the map.
May 19, 200521 yr Have you tried exporting the flight plan from FSNAV to FS9? Dave Vega dv Win 10 Pro || i7-8700K || 32GB || ASUS Z370-P MB || NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11Gb || 2 960 PRO 1TB, 840 EVO My Files in the AVSIM Library

May 19, 200521 yr I'm not sure, if I understand correctly , what you mean. With the default FS9 flight planner you not only can define departure and arrival airports and let the planner calculate the route, but you can actually include any waypoint, VOR, NDB, intersection and airway, which is in the database. To do this, first insert departure and arrival aiport and let FS9 create a route. Then click on the calculated flight path (the red line on the map) and drag it to any nav aid on the map. The red line will stick to this nav aid and the nav aid will be included into the flight plan. To delete a waypoint, just use the delete function located on the right bottom corner of the flight plan map view window.edited: Unfortunatly you cannot create custom fixes with the default flight plannerI hope this helpsWolfgang
