Hi Mark,What does the rest of your system look like, and what settings are you using? In addition, what Driver for the Radeon are you using? Do you have the latest Catalyst? Is that default scenery or an add-on? Where are you flying at?Regards,Joeaopa.gif" border="0" alt="Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

Im seeing these things also, textures not updating fast enough, but i just ignore it now, dont want to waste anymore time tweaking and tweaking instead of flying.OHN

Ouch!! That'd put me off forever. I use a 9600 (256 something or other) with whatever drivers came with the box. The card seems to be an unlikely culprit. As Joe said, what's the rest of FS like?http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg

Cheers

Hello guys, the rest of the fs looks like this...its near lowi (innsbruck/austria) with the austria professional 2004 scenery. i checked this in neatherlands and poland with standard scenery. all looking the same :-(iam using the DNA 3.2.4.10 drivers and winxp SP2.iam updating in this time to omega drivers for ati. will report soon.greetingsMark

How much ram have you got?

>How much ram have you got?>>1024 MB.It think its enough or?

Let us know after the drivers, but what Processor do you run, as it sounds like a bottleneck in the system if the drivers don't fix it.I would still lean towards drivers. Also, does the scenery recommend settings to use and what settings are your display options set at, resolutions, screen rate, land, textures, etc...aopa.gif" border="0" alt="Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

Mark,One question (noting the overspeed warning)--how fast were you flying in this shot? I can recreate this situation only if I try to fly too fast in heavy terrain. Also, some aircraft add to the problem if they have a heavy texture burden. However, if you are getting this problem at 300 kts indicated, then you may need to tweak your system a bit--make sure unwanted processes are terminated, and make sure you aren't throwing too much a burden on your video card and cpu. I almost always leave autogen disabled for jet flights, as one example, as it eases the texture update burden slightly for the higher speeds the jets travel at. Try a test flight with an AI aircraft as well--there's many in the library. They have such a light texture burden that you can rule out whether the 767 combined with high speed flight as the cause. -John

The GART drivers are FUBAR'd. You need to reinstall the motherboard's chipset drivers. Start by cleaning out all the bad stuff using DriverCleaner. Follow the Readme to the letter (you'll be working in Windows Safe Mode). You don't say what kind of motherboard you're using, but if it's chipset drivers are included in DriverCleaner's list remove them with DC. Clean out the ATI video drivers in DC as well. Once you've done a thorough cleaning you can then install the chipset drivers, followed by a reinstall of DirectX, and then the video drivers.Good luck,Greg

I installed the new omega drivers. I was deleting with Drivecleaner, great program! And enabled AA. Its working better now and looking more realistic. i will test it now. give you more details then.Mark

Great Mark,Let us know how it works out. You may also want to check that DC shows no Nvidea files either. Sometimes the two mixing can cause problems, especially if you also have onboard video. Also slow down or the Virtual FAA will give you a speeding ticket. ;-)regards,Joeaopa.gif" border="0" alt="Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

Hello again,i found a second problem. I deactivated all addon sceneries, and wow, 400megs only in the system monitor...activated all addon --> 1,4GB... deactivated all and activated each one with a try in fs. Found one freeware scenery, that was also a problem. It seems that a defect landclass file caused this problem.iam happy now :-) only waiting for my new cpu :-)greetingsMark
