Hats off to the T7

Featured Replies

Hi All,

After a quite a long pause, I finally had some time to make a short hop with the T7 Freighter (EHAM-EFHK) and I just wanted to post a topic and say how happy I was!:) For this flight I was using Aerosoft EHAM&EFHK, FSGlobal2010, REX Direct, ASN, PFPX, VOXatc, Aivlasoft efb, fscaptain and everything (for a change) worked like charm, no ctd´s or ooms or any other issues.

It was very windy at EHAM and the takeoff took place from rwy 27 with winds gusting to +30 knots... (11.1.2015 09:00 local).

After the takeoff, straight forward climb to FL350, strong tailwind and the flight time was less than 2 hours... Decending to EFHK, winds (16kt) was coming from 280 so had to make crosswind landing on rwy 33... What an amazing experience to fly by hand!

Reason for posting? Eh, well, have been reading this forum a lot and many fellow simmer is experiencing problems and posting questions, so for a change I thought to drop a short post and say that its an amazing thing when everything works fine and you are able to complete the whole flight from cold and dark to securing the a/c.

Absolutely an amazing product! Do I dare to say that I cant wait the 747 v2 to show up... (ofcourse I can and will wait  )

Wish you all a nice start for the new week!

Cheers!

Yes,

actually, hats off to PMDG for what they offer simmers for a ridiculously low price, given the quality, not only graphical but, above all, of the systems and flight dynamics provided, on a platform with so many years, without much evolution, that is supporting their add-ons.

Hats off to FSX too, because it is still a GREAT FLIGHT SIMULATION PLATFORM, probably the best, for Civil Flight Simulation ever made available.

And, since we're taking our hats off twice, why not take them 2 more times, one to LM and other to DTG for continuing what the Aces created with so much Love and Dedication.  And just one more, to Steam, thanks to whom I bought ( for *** only *** €4,99 ) installed and am again using with lot's of joy my good MSFS !!!

Whow... I'm bald, it's cold out there... I really shouldn't take my hat off so many times :-)

Learning to fly gliders since 1980

Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.

(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)

Indeed, I fully agree with all your points! :Applause:

Its bloody cold out here (EFHK) as well, -14 degrees, so better not take my hat off actually... :Big Grin:

Happy flying!
