January 23, 201511 yr i have i7 overclocked to 4.5 (and very stable) but running a GTX780. Will it really make such a difference to get a 980? Would this 980 not sit and wait for CPU and idling along? if 980 get a yes, which one would you recommend, then I am reasonably content with what I have, but you know there is always going to be the question, but maybe it can be better Sorry I am not that technical

January 23, 201511 yr Author Thanks John, That has just been a very good read indeed. I think I will hold onto the 780. Just heard lately of the 980, but for the money I dont think it is worth it. I am actually impressed with the comparison data between 780 and 980.
