February 3, 201511 yr Have updated every time the GeForce Experience thing popped up and told me a new driver was available. Never had any problems. Newer versions of the driver break some specific things in P3D v2, this is why there are several discussions in the various P3D forums. But it's specific to that sim and nothing that affects XPX or any other sims/games. -
February 4, 201511 yr I think the OpenGL sub-system in the nVidia drivers remains unchanged for Windows versions. Some seem to think older versions of 344.x for Linux are better. Personally, I keep my drivers up to date and see no difference in XP on my GTX 970. i7-4790K o/c @ 4.8 GHz, Corsair H-110 liquid cooler, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, MSI Maximus VII Hero mobo Samsung Pro 512 GB SSD Corsair GFX Hydro GTX-1080 8 GB, (2) 4TB hybrid HDs Win 10 (1607), X-Plane 10.51r2 and X-Plane 11.01b1
