PMDG 777 Speed Window Lvar

Recommended Posts

When the PMDG 777 speed window is displaying speed in mach #, the function ipc.readLvar("L:ngx_SPDwindow") seems to always return a value of 1 instead of the displayed mach value.  However, if the displayed speed is in knots, ipc.readLvar("L:ngx_SPDwindow") returns the correct value.   Has anyone had experience with this, or know some other way to read the speed window mach value?

Thx,

Al

Hi Ark

I have moved your question to Support as this is the better place for such questions.

I will leave in to Guenseli to answer your question as I am unfamiliar with the 777.

OK, thanks for the move Scotflieger.

BTW, some additional info regarding my original question is that for the PMDG 737NGX, the ipc.readLvar("L:ngx_SPDwindow") function does return either speed in knots or mach # depending on what is currently displayed in the speed window. So I'm thinking for the T7 the window mach # might be held in a different location (different Lvar than L:ngx_SPDwindow ).

Thx,

Al

Al, did you ever find an answer to this?
