February 4, 201511 yr Author Commercial Member Guys I guess I came over too critical about the aerosoft. The airbus package by aerosoft is pretty good and I haven't spent more than an hour or so flying it. I just mean it is a bit too lite compared to ifly and pmdg. I guess fslabs is the only option for a complete a320. When I say I overstressed, I mean the sim stops and says aircraft overstressed, you know, like it does if you really go overboard or crash. All I was doing was approaching overspeed and manoevering when it happened. According to the description from aerosoft it is supposed to model the fly by wire protections correctly. I was just highlighting that for me they didn't seem to be working. Its not even a big deal, as under normal flight I wouldn't even be approaching the limits. The dealbreaker for me is more the lack of systems. I love the quality of the model and sounds etc its just a bit lite. Going for the ifly I think. Seems pretty complete and looks better than I thought it would in the VC. I was expecting worse when people said its not up to pmdg standards. Ill probably end up with the pmdg and the fslabs a320 when they come out anyway. Thanks for the advice guys! February 5, 201511 yr That's the FSX "overstressed". It's meant for default planes. Most addon developers develop the aircraft with real parameters that don't tie in with the default "overstressed" options. Alot of the damage options best to turn off. Even crash detection is a problem, because many scenery addons have invisible things that trigger a crash.
