NGX Won't Climb, Lacks Power

Recommended Posts

I've been flying the NGX for a long time with no issue.  I just did a reformat and reinstall.  Everything seems fine.  Aircraft starts and behaves normally until it gets airborne.  It seems like it has no power even though N1 is at 90%.

What am I forgetting?

Couple things can be an issue here:

The first one is are you using FSInn? If so, disable FSInn's weather (this should be done regardless of use of ASN weather or other programs).

The second one could be a flap axis assigned through FSUIPC, which can occasionally cause issues.

I'm using vPilot.  Double mapping in FSUIPC seems to be a logical place to look.  I'll check all my assignments again.  It's easy to make a mistake.

Also a incorrect OAT in the fmc can cause this to I believe.

Definitely. There are a ton of moving parts to keep track of.

You have to pay attention to the programming of FSUIPC.  Just a couple of incorrect entries can cause problems.

It's all good now.

Thanks guys!!
