  1. You have to pay attention to the programming of FSUIPC. Just a couple of incorrect entries can cause problems. It's all good now. Thanks guys!!
  2. I'm using vPilot. Double mapping in FSUIPC seems to be a logical place to look. I'll check all my assignments again. It's easy to make a mistake.
  3. I've been flying the NGX for a long time with no issue. I just did a reformat and reinstall. Everything seems fine. Aircraft starts and behaves normally until it gets airborne. It seems like it has no power even though N1 is at 90%. What am I forgetting? Ted Belden
  4. This may not be a 777 issue at all, however, but I'm posting it here in the hopes that maybe someone has experienced it also. When I advance the throttles manually, they behave eratically although they go in the proper direction after some fiddling. It doesn't happen with the NGX or Majestic DH8. I've reprogrammed them in FSUIPC numerous times to no avail. Any Ideas? Ted Belden
  5. Just got mine. My craving is satisfied! Ahhhh
  6. So this was the surprise they promised. Nice!!
  7. Hey Captain Randazzo it may be a little late now that you've unzipped yourself, but being a businessman I had a suggestion. Why not pre-sell the 777 and offer as the interim prize pdf's of the fcoms? It would help with cash flow it that is even a concern, plus it will give you some insight into the buying pressure that you'll be facing on launch day. Plus al the 777 jocks could get a head start on understanding the procedures, etc. Just a thought, albeit a year too late.
  8. I hate to see knee jerk reactions. Remember civility and maturity are not requirements to access any media so they're always in doubt. It wasn't enough that the nay sayers didn't like video, but they had to keep it away from those of us that would have appreciated it for what it is. It reminds me of that political group that keeps trying to take our guns from us.
  9. This has nothing to do with the 737NGX, which is absolutely awesome by the way, but maybe someone else encountered this and has a solution. EZDOK seemed to load fine, but when you switch from cockpit cameras to aircraft cameras it shows a view of the world from outer space versus views from the vicinity of the aircraft. Anybody else have this happen? What did you do to resolve it?
  10. The problem was that FSX didn't load the aircraft with engines running. It instead loaded with ground power connected. Once I got everything running it went just fine.
  11. Id' like to, but I have no clue how to do that. Sorry. And yes I agree that it might be an IRS alignment problem
  12. Yes it was and is. To be sure it actually says "Map" on the ND, right? Ted
  13. I was loading the tutorial and when I got to the point of selecting the runway (8R) at Gatwick into the FMC the tutorial says that it should display on the ND. Mine didn't. I've started from scratch several times to no avail. Everything else seems fine. Any ideas? Ted Belden
  14. Well this is embarassing, but when I registered in the support area, I inadvertently included some of my password with my username. Would you mind deleting username 9457tgbelden from the support site? Thanks, Ted Belden
  15. Well, here's what I did and that seemed to do the trick. I had fairly recently set the Joystick Sensitivity for LSAS/RCWS to Heavy to add some realism. I also had set the Controls Joystick Override to Always and the Elevators/Ailerons/Rudder to Always. I set the sensitivity to Medium and the other two to Never. I don't know which one solved it or if it was something else, but your suggestion about the options got me looking at it.Thanks!Ted Belden
