February 3, 201511 yr About an hour in to every flight the sound starts crackling. Even if I go to youtube when it happens and try a video, that sound is also crackling. Anybody else have this or know where to start?

February 4, 201511 yr Reduce your sound quality in windows, Control Panel\Hardware and Sound your sound hardware device\properties\advanced and reduce the sample rate, i have mine set at 16bit. 96,000 hz (studio quality). i had the crackles too with Carenado Aircraft and A2A and it cured the problem., also make sure your realtek\soundcard drivers are up to date. February 5, 201511 yr Author I should have given my specs. It's not a hardware issue. I'm an audio editor as a profession, I use an Avid Mbox with up to date drivers. Right now it's set to 24bit 48,000Hz and I've had no problems with the plane up until now. Kind of puzzling. However, I've just set some of the sound options in the .ini file of the Majestic to off and now I don't have the problem. I'm still stumped as to why. I've only done 3 flights without the issue, so if it comes up again I may try a new bit rate, but that would be a pain to switch between the rates in between, and it only happens with this plane, so I might just use my on board sound for FSX.
February 16, 201511 yr Author Ack sound problem is back. Stumped. Going to try switching my hardware to 16bit.
