Okay I had FSX-SE running great and showing the correct folder structure however I needed to re install both win7  & FSX-SE

 

However FSX-SE is creating the old FSX folder structure and a fsx.cfg (not fsx_se.cfg) and the old fsx.scenery cfg. I used both F1 & ORBX registry repair and a registry cleaner but it didnt help

 

However before I try to find a fix for this, my question is can I leave it this way? The reason being It would be a lot easier to install FSX ad ons

yeah you can leave it, that is normal, it only creates the fsx-se structure if there is an existing fsx installation, otherwise it just creates and uses the old fsx structure.
