What is the most realistic way to set up controls in p3d, using just p3d settings, fsuipc direct, or p3d through fsuipc?

To me, for the most convenience and flexibility - disable all controllers in P3D and set up profiles in FSUIPC. You can make them aircraft specific and all you have to do with a P3D update is disable the controllers in options and FSUIPC keeps your settings.
