I am trying to wait for the U.S. Version of Ultimate Terrain...But I don't think I can wait any longer :)' So I guess I will have to do more flying in Alaska & Canada (LOL)..My question is I have a freeware terrain from a gentlemen by the name of Raimondo Taberut here from AVSIM (Raimondo) please forgive me If I messed your name up very bad..Ok it is the Alaska terrain freeware mesh and I am also using FSGENESIS American Data and I do know that it has roads and Alaska is part of the U.S.My question is If I buy Ultimate Terrain is there anything in particular I need to do to with these products to use them at their full advantage?Will the Mesh conflict? What do I need to do if anything different with American Data.Or is it a install and Go? If anyone could enlighten me It would be appreciated. Thanks,

There is no mesh conflict because UT does not contain terrain mesh.Having said all that, accurate terrain mesh is very important for UT. You need it to avoid things like lakes on pedestals or in holes. You also want hills and embankments to be in the correct place and not offset. I use FSGenesis mesh with both UT-Canada and FreeFlow New England, and have had excellent results. Many of the beta testers also used FSG mesh. That doesn't mean that Raimondo's or any other mesh won't provide the same result. It just means that the accuracy has got to be reliable.Bottom line is that accurate mesh will provide good results with UT, no matter what source it comes from. -Neil

You just need to deactivate it from the scenery.cfg and delete the files if you installed it to a separate location. If you installed it to ..sceneryworldscenery the you can just remove the .bgl files.

Rgr... Thanks Hey one question I have is... I have FSGenesis American Data..It does have roads in it.. And I know Alaska is part of the U.S. and Ultimate Terrain covers Alaska..Would I just need to go to settings and shut roads off for Alaska in American Data?
