February 26, 201511 yr I recently had a Hard Drive die. I had it replaced at a shop near me. So far all my programs run fine after re-install except the only program that matter! FSX! It seemed to run fine for about 24 hours. I have updated Drivers, installed FSUIPC, UIAutomationCore, put the anti virus in game mode and turned off the anti spy ware. I have an i7 2.8 with 8 gig ram, 2T sata drive, Radeon 7500 video, a pretty typical set up using Windows 7 64 bit. the FSX is installed where it was for YEARS prior to the problem, in Programs ( X 86 ) Microsoft Games/ Flight Simulator. It has run there fine for the entire life of the previous drive. My addons, are all the same addons that have been ok for several years also. I looked at the event log, and here is what I see.... + System - Provider [ Name] Windows Error Reporting - EventID 1001 [ Qualifiers] 0 Level 4 Task 0 Keywords 0x80000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2015-02-26T18:17:58.000000000Z EventRecordID 2572 Channel Application Computer Owner-PC Security - EventData 0 APPCRASH Not available 0 fsx.exe 10.0.61637.0 46fadb14 StackHash_0a9e 0.0.0.0 00000000 c0000005 ffb60016 C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive\AppCrash_fsx.exe_6a8b52e2dc232ae6ffa1a4f55bec1adf2dbf8ce_123c3f12 0 c8175c99-bde3-11e4-a3eb-002564f4c952 0 Does anyone have any idea?

February 27, 201511 yr You had a StackHash. Impossible to fix without troubleshooting. Most likely you do not have Microsoft Visuals 2005 w/SP1 and Microsoft Visual 2008 with SP1 installed as it sounds like to me you just moved stuff back after you reinstalled Windows. I saw this same issue over in the P3DV2 forum whereas the proper version of Microsoft Visual 2013 caused the exact same error. See pages 6 and 7 and look at the image and see if you have the exact same Microsoft Visuals in your Add/Remove Programs. The versions must be exactly the same. Go to the link shown on page 6 for all of the latest Microsoft Visuals. In your case you need only Microsoft Visual 2005 w/SP1 as it appears you only have FSX and Acceleration installed. If you have any addons, you will need the 2008 version too. Some additional possible solutions for this CTD are located on page 15 of the AVSIM CTD Guide.
