PREPAR3D: AI aircraft identifiers show through 777 panel

Recommended Posts

A minor glitch which does not appear to affect performance.  The AI aircraft identifiers in PREPAR3D (such as, "Acme") show through the PMDG 777 panel on my setup.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the red aircraft labels? If so, the labels themselves are unrealistic as it is, and I'm not sure we can do anything about them. That would be a P3D thing.

The message didn't say "can not be posted." It says "service unavailable." It's an issue with the AVSIM forum in general that they haven't addressed.

Regardless, it seems to only be the service that posts the content and redirects you to the new thread. Otherwise, everything functions normally.

Full names are required on the PMDG forums as per the rules. Surprised Kyle didn't pick up on this :P

Thanks.

Yeah, they are annoying. Turn them off.  That would be a P3D issue, but it's interesting that it crops up in P3D but not FSX/FSXSE.. might have something to do with how DirectX11 is working.  In all my years of looking for traffic I've never seen red labels, man that would have helped.  Some hazy days I never see the traffic.
