737NGX for Prepar3d, not for cockpit builders? (no 2d panels)

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I just bought the NGX for prepar3d but then I noticed this remark on the PMDG page:

"This product uses a full virtual cockpit and does not include 2D panels."

So, this to me sounds that this product is not targeted to cockpit builders, which obviously heavily depend on the usage of 2d panels.

I also, unlike the FSX version, I don't see any mentioning of any SDK availibility. This is also a showstopper by itself.

Is this really true? In that case I've just spent $69.99 on something I can't use.

It contains the same 2D panels that the original NGX did. This does not include a throttle quadrant, though.

kyle does the p3d ngx have the wing splashes on the ground outside view like the T777 in dawn and dusk (basically an updated lighting system like the T777) may have been there in fsx just cant remember - thank you
