my windshield wiper and part of the glare shield that contains the master caution and master warning, and the black piece above and beside the the warning lights are no longer "hidden" behind the hud. When i turn on one landing light the problem goes away except the wiper is still strange looking in  the way i described.

 

what i mean by that is those pieces seem to be closer to the pilots face than the hud its very odd just started happening today i want to upload 2 pictures but cant figure out how. any help would be greatly appreciated.

What you're seeing is "normal", and has been in the NGX ever since RTM version 1.It's an FSX limitation PMDG could not get around, sadly.
