Hiya all,Just installed a new HD and also FS9 but did a flight to check if it was ok

Hi there, littlejimYou need to go into Options-Display-Hardware and change some things there. What you had on your previous install I cannot know, but my guess is that you need to change: Resolution (it looks like 800X600), Anti-aliasing (if your hardware supports it) - maybe some other things too.HTH & BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Hiya,Thanks for your reply, srry had to give abitmore info about all of it here.I have:P4-2800 -> 3100O/C1500mbGeForce 6600GT2x80gb H/DFS9 config:1280x1024x32mipmap 8xHardware Rendered lights 8xRender to Texture =onTransform and Lighting = onAnti Aliasing =on or off makes no change to FSGlobal Tex Medium or Extreme also makes to change.Filtering = Trilinear. These are my setting in FS9 maybe this will make it all a bit clearer. Many thanks,L.Jim

Make sure you've installed the latest display driver as well as any AGP GART and chipset drivers required by your motherboard.Mipmap should be set to 4-5 in FS to prevent shimmering textures.Anti-Aliasing should be turned OFF in FS (it should be controlled by the driver). Then, go to the display control panel and enable: 8x Anisotropic, high-quality mipmaps and 2x or 4x FSAA.
