March 27, 201511 yr Hello pilots! I've been experimenting with OpenGl lately and used my VfrFlight (http://vfrflight.org) flight planner as a playground. Results are visible in screenshots below. Now, you can visualize terrain layer in full 3D, with your route included (Google Earth style). Of course it's free. Enjoy .
