Spurious characters, what am I doing wrong?

Featured Replies

Hi Carl

The speed that a knob can be actioned in the aircraft module normally use one increment (+1 or -1) if turned slowly and by a greater increment with turned faster (+10 or -10). However, this is dependent on the SDK options provided by the aircraft designer. PDMG has a unique method of interfacing with FSUIPC4 and LINDA. Trying to instruct it to go faster than the SDK will allow can cause problems. There is little that we can do.

Getting back to your original question. I conflated your 2 questions into one. Where and when are you seeing the spurious characters on the MCP1?

Hi Carl

Can you try and capture some photos of the erroneous MCP2 display on a phone and post them?

Thank you Carl. Can you confirm what version of LINDA you are using?

Hi Carl, another question. What PMDG module are you using?

Scott-

Sorry for the delay, however, I managed to grab a photo of the MCP display I mention a couple of days ago.  This is with the latest LINDA and 777 module (and 777 update).
