COUTL Issue

Featured Replies

I just loaded a flight DFW. I see the Addons->Addonmanger with the airport register and installed.

But the airport is missing.. no buildings. It did not ask me to install any latest and greatest stuff. Its like a box of chocolate you never know what you are gonna get!

WHY? This is beyond annoying!

Sigh!

Did you go to the Addon Manager>Couatl>Restart Couatl? You may also have to download the latest Standalone Manager. The missing buildings indicate it is not properly registered. They have a sticky in the general forum with solutions for problems like this.

Hi Jim. I know the solution..download the latest and install which is what I did

But its annoying that I have fly all the way to  approach to land to find out  the buildings are missing and that I now I need to install and then even reboot the PC.

They make good airports but the cost of using them is just too much.. I feel like getting rid of all of them..There are enough airports without these hassles.

Hi Manny,

I've been there done that several times. I have found that if I see this, I just go to the Addon Manager then Couatl and restart Couatl and they appear. I just went through a complete reinstall of Windows and reinstallation of my FSDT and FlightBeam airports and this time I had absolutely no problems whatsoever getting them to work the first time.

I saw the addon manger..but I did not see the Coutl in the Addons menu. IT probably did not load something.

I apologize but it's not inside the Addon Manager but when you click on Addon you'll see it as follows:

couatl2.png

If you do not see it, then your exe.xml and/or dll.xml may be corrupted as they load the Addon Menu selections.
