April 1, 201511 yr Author I like your topics because I am a photoscenery fan like you.I wonder how many Gb you have in photoscenery.I've often read that people don't like it because of the lack of watermasking in some areas. On the other hand I think that with watermasking the colours are over the top , I mean too shiny to be realistic whereas the water colours in photoscenery, though dull, are closer to reality. As a photoscenery expert, what do you think? Thanks Much! Currently 2.7 TB in use, have 4TB capacity, Thruput is about 340 mb/sec. Use 1TB velociraptor x 2 Array (intel RAID0). Love the Photo water showing shallow water and deep channeling, beaches, mud flats, sand bars. Sim Savvy used this but did not blend into deep ocean. Earth Simulations has the best waterwork. You see the UK beaches shallow water channeling mud flats, sand bars and no phoney scenery fill in like MSE. blending photo water into deep ocean will change the water texture. Been to SLC a few times in tubeliners....love the approach through the mountains.Great shots HL! Thank You Very Much...I like the approach over the alkali Bonneville desert and lake. HLJAMES Sweet shots... what LOD radius do you run? All titles of MSE with any aircraft including PMDG use LOD 9.5. Some European scenery makers blend autogen VFR Germany, France VFR so LOD 7.5. Austria Professional might need about 6.5. HD Photoscenery you can Max-Out image quality 32xAA all sliders because it's not a burden on the CPU/Memory however your storage performance becomes a bottleneck....got to get about 160mb/sec (blurries) HLJAMES
