weather radar PMDG 737NGX

May have overlooked the answer but my question is, do I need to install Active Sky Next into PMDG 737 NGX latest version to get radar functionality? It acts like it's on but no weather showing when raining/storms.

 

Requires ASN.

Not sure I follow. ASN is a weather add-on. You don't need to install anything into our aircraft directly.

 

If you're referring to X-Gauge, it isn't necessary.

OK. The PMDG 737 must recognize it I then. Smart people at PMDG. Thanks. Will give it a go.
