Hello,

I did a flight on Wednesday in the NGX and all was good. Today, I load up p3d and every time I load up a airport outside the USA, I get this error:

I never fly in the USA so this makes the sim unusable for me. Even when I disable ALL my addon scenery, this error shows up. I've spent 5 hours on this but no luck, please help.

The usual cause of CTDs in WEATHER.DLL is either a corrupt .WX file or a corrupt wxstationlist.BIN file.

The latter is in your User Appdata\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 folder (near your main CFGfile), and you can delete that without problem -- P3D will make another copy.

The WX files are in your documents, Prepar3D v2 Files folder, and those are just used to load the weather saved with your flights. Unless you have some special saved flight+weather, you don't need those either. In fact if you use a weather program, they are rather a waste of time and space.

The problem with both these file types is that they a binary data files with no checks at all built in, and when a corrupt one is read it can play havoc.
