April 5, 201511 yr Hi all, I'm looking at buying PFPX to help me plan my flights and fuel usage. I've seen a few PFPX tutorials where they talk about entering all the data (weights, instruments etc) of the plane to get it working correctly. I can't seem to find this information and before I go spending $80 on the program I'd like to have the info on hand. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome!. Cheers all, Tim

April 5, 201511 yr Hi, There are already some profiles included in pfpx which match the specs of the main aircrafts amongst which the PMDG B737. So you don't have to bother so much about datas. Of course, you are free to tweak them if you fill so, but the default datas includind do the trick for me and I haven't felt the need to modify them. Regarding intruments, most of them are mandatory and common to any jets (VHF, ILS, INS, GNSS...). For the others (ACARS, CPDLC...) the options are companys' choice and it is quite difficult to have accurate selections but they don't interfere in any way in flight planning and simming so you can just leave them by default.
