Brakes on

Featured Replies

When I was taking a flight in my SF260 I could see that by airborne the word 'BRAKES' was written at the lower left.Pressing the toebreakes gave the word Differental Brake and CTRL . gave parking brake.I understand what parking brakes and differential brakes mean. But what is meant by onlr Brakes? As far as I know SF260 does not have any airbrake and neither appeared such a thing active during my flight.

Differential brakes are brakes for just one set of brakes at a time (left or right brakes only). When you apply left differential brakes, you're only braking the left wheel brakes, and the same for the right brakes. When you see the message "Brakes," you are applying all wheel brakes (left and right). It's the same as pressing the period (.) key.

If you keep seeing the Brakes message, you should check your pedals calibration. The 'null zone' is not properly set. If using CHProducts you can set it in its the Control Manager Software. Another good way is a registered version of FSUIPC.
