Identifying the appropriate forum for a problem

Featured Replies

I have a constant problem of the scenery, as viewed from the cockpit, is not moving on taxi even though I get the pavement rumble and the ground speed showing >0 kts. My problem is in identifying which product is causing this problem. I post here because of the great knowledge of readers.

I am running P3D2.5.12944 PMDG777-300ER with ASN B5570 and the latest FSDT Stand-alone Add-on Manager  and couatl 3, with FSUIPC4.939j.

It can appear that GSX is the culprit, but Umberto can find no reason.

Any ideas?

Cheers, Richard

Sound like GSX is freezing. I've noticed many times that GSX has impact on scenery and many objects disappear when GSX is loading.  I assume you tried a COUATL restart, so next step is to remove GSX and confirm P3D is okay, then try reinstalling GSX and any updates it recommends.  Like you, I'm just guessing.

Hi Dan,

Many thanks for your comments.

I too believe that it is GSX that is causing the problem, but so far Umberto has not been able to confirm this.

It is really frustrating not to be able to fly unimpeded. But still, let's hope that UGCX is not long in coming to us.

Regards, Richard
