Painting the Citation?

Featured Replies

Hey,

I've seen some of you have managed to do some good looking paints!

I want to do the same but  I don't know how to paint this one. I've done some paints before but this looks very strange. Do you have a template or something?
Or is there a guide on how to do it?

This is the plane I want to do!

There is no real 'template' to speak of, however there is a set of white textures that have the basic aircraft details, but lack any stripes, or other trim. You can find those textures in the SimObjects/Airplanes/Carenado S550_Citation II/Texture.Common folder. You can do your repaint based on those blank textures.

As far as a guide how to work with the Carenado repaints you can check out this Carenado Repainting Tutorial  which has some really nice tips.

Enjoy your self!
