Using a 2nd monitor

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I've just bought a small 17 inch montor to use alongside my main 40 inch.  Dipping in and out of the main flightsim screen is always a pain so decided to get a small monitor for EFB, moving maps and Vpilot applications.  I intend running it off the same graphics card as my 40 inch monitor.

Are there any anomalies assosicated with running a second monitor using p3dv2.4? I seem to recall when I tried a second monitor  with fsx some two years ago, I had a visual artifact appear in my vc which i couldnt get rid of.  When i dumped the 2nd monitor it disappeared.  I hope this does not happen in this instance

Who else is running a 2nd monitor off the same video card for utility type applications?

I'm using the flight deck solutions FMC for the 737 NGX and thats a 2nd monitor with a VGA cable plugged into my graphics port.

Where did you get your 17 i'm looking for a 12.1
