I googled RC4 demo. When I go to click it, it takes me back to the main RC webpage but I see no link to download a trial.  Is there a trial or do I have to buy it and hope that I like it?

No trial, I would suggest you look at youtube videos to see if RC4 is right for you. There are a number available. If you happen to watch mine (TF51D) don't hold the sound quality against it, as I had a problem with my sound card when I made it. I myself use PFE now.
