April 26, 201511 yr Author No, I cannot install Accerlation It says "The System cannot read the specifed device" If this helps, I had FSX:SE and I went back to Default Fsx so I just reinstalled FSX Yesterday. April 26, 201511 yr No, I cannot install Accerlation It says "The System cannot read the specifed device" You probably do not have permissions. Open up Windows Explorer and go to the drive where your Acceleration dvd is located. Then right click the install program and select run as administrator. If that does not work, then your DVD may be dirty and you need to clean it and try again. If Acceleration is installed, then you cannot install SP2 and you will get the unexpected error message. You should check out the AVSIM CTD Guide and on page 2 we have a link to AppCrashView. Download and install then post the results of the latest issue here.
