July 1, 200520 yr Moderator >As far as I know that is a trim wheel-or supposed wheel on>the CH yoke-is rough-and that is a compliment. Have done the>yoke calibration/assignment of left yoke button etc.-not real>at all imho....I once spoke with an engineer at CH, and he told me that the main purpose of the large "trim wheel" has changed as flightsims have evolved.Originally, the "trim wheel" was intended for use in sims that did not have any type of internal trim control. Now, the main purpose is to provide a way to compensate for changes in the response curve due to aging potentiometers... ;) IOW, it can be used to "define the centerpoint" in a rough manner. July 1, 200520 yr Thank you Bill, for that little clue!... but as one can see, it didn't work... on my system.I believe it started the other day (before my total system crash) when I responded to a post in which the signature had blue font. I don't believe it makes for easy reading and wish I could change it.donmac
