After installing version 2.1 of Flight 1's Ultimate Terrain X USA, FSX goes black after a few minutes. The program is still running except the screen is completely black.

It doesn't freeze my computer and I can just escape out of it. First time ever for this type of error.

 

Version 2.0 didn't have this problem and was just curious if any one here had the same thing happen after installing version 2.1.

did you run the setup tool ?

Yes, I ran it. Both step #1 and step #2.

Upon further trial & error, uninstalling UTX 2.1 proved that it's not the culprit.

I uninstalled it and it still goes black. Since it first happened right after installing 2.1,

I thought that was the problem. Oh well.  Thanks for the reply, though.
