Really simple scenery design?

Featured Replies

I was kinda looking for a program that allows me to easily make really basic and simple scenery, as well as basic edits, in FS2004. For starters, I'd like to move the Eifel tower just a bit (in a specific scenery pack I have it is misaligned with the ground photo scenery).

I'd also like to place some basic hoops, pylons, and boxes for simple race courses...

Any good suggestions?

one of the tools Arno wrote is called ModelConverterX (MCX)
you can move the tower as needed; as well as place new objects

you’re very welcome Retro

should take a split second to do as well

load your bgl containing the tower; make sure it is the object loaded,

click transform object and you should be presented with all the options to adjust

(don’t forget to export to a new bgl when finished!)

Arno's latest build releases can be found here

if you need further support with Arno's MCX, you can find it here

MCX is an awesome tool, no question, but if you want an easy to use tool for object placement I think the best one is Instant Scenery 3 from Flight1. It is payware but not very expensive.
