FSX-SE GA Traffic missing anyone?

Recommended Posts

Hi

Im not getting any GA traffic but Ive read rumors that it may not work in Steam so before I trouble shoot further I just want to see who else is having issues.

Im using VOX ATC which takes over AI traffic and commands it. There was GA traffic in the boxed version when I had that

If you are using AI (either aircraft or traffic files) brought over from FS9 this can happen. You might try turning aircraft shadows off. I share your frustration. The combination of FSX-SE and Orbyx scenery has revived my enjoyment of flying VFR from smaller airfields but having no traffic is disappointing

Here's the solution you may be looking for. I am using the freeware AIFP to create or edit FSX AI packages. It has a menu item "Bulk Traffic." Open that up and there's an option to find and convert any FS9 AI files to FSX format.

Turns out I had a problem with FTX free AI traffic. Reinstalled it and cessnas  galore . You may want to try it under their free ware section
