July 8, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Andreas, yup, it sure is annoying if people don't "perform" the way one wants them to ...:-outta Cheers, Holger
July 8, 200520 yr I don't think it is a case of "aren't really interested", since for xample, if you look at all the work done by scenery designers in coaxing out the finer details of of that specialty (and the same can be said for aircraft modelers, guage designers, and flight dynamics developers). It just seems in the case of these display parameters, we've hit a wall on some of them. We know in general what they are doing, but can't pinpoint the exact cause/effect. It doesn't help when things seem system dependent. It's like no two people can agree on the effect of changing graphics drivers.scott s..

While there are some parameters within F9.cfg that are less well understood, it doesn't appear to be the case with those you have asked about here which are readily and clearly explicable to ANYONE that wants to hear.As has been explained by people I regard as `expert` the problem is not that the definitive nature of the settings is not understood, but rather the impact of those settings is system-specific.If you want more information than is being provided here, then you really are on your own. But we all look forward to your `definitive` explanations when you have them.Allcott
