There is UNITS_OF_MEASURE variable under [PANELS] section of fsx.CFG. What is it resposnsible for and what is the range of acceptable values? (pls don't confuse with [iNTERNATIONAL] section.

It's probably for indicating the Barometric Pressure in either MB, or HG.

 

Where English=0, Hybrid=1, and Metric=2
