        When I use some planes, other than PMDG or Aerosoft, the strobe lights flashing frequency change to fast and unrealistic. Any fixes from someone in the know?

You can download a program called Flusifix.  There are settings to make the strobes and other flashing

 

lights do so randomly.  It keeps them from all being synchronized.

Strobe lights are controlled in the Effects folder with a certain fx_ file.
