Replacement Radios for FSX Default A/C

Recommended Posts

Bingo! Now you've got it, or at least the essential part. Those "pesky knobs" as you call 'em are just as much part of the aircraft's mesh as are the wings, the landing gear and the tail... :LMAO:

What a mesh!   Just%20Kidding.gif

I suppose the idea is that almost anything 3D ( e.g., radio knobs) requires an underlying structure (mesh), but apparently you found a way around that at Milviz with the C310R (each radio has its "own" mesh, perhaps). I like the steam gauge C310R and so haven't tried swapping any radios -- yet.

Al, that is precisely what we do. This allows us to import mesh for say a GTN750 and place it in any aircraft (where there is room and it make sense) as we wish. The only "downside" however is that each such special avionics configuration requires its' own interior .mdl file.

And I wish all developers would follow suite.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
