Unable to use DME

Featured Replies

I select a VOR that on the sectional chart shows it supports DME.  I tune both radios to the VOR and the NAV function does track to it.  However, I do not see a readout of the miles to the station.  I press the DME button on the PFD but still no distance shows.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this feature not  implemented?

Hi Jim,

Took off from KCWA in the Phenom with NAV 1 set to STE:110.6 and DME showing on the PFD. Just after takeoff I started receiving STE signal and distance (15miles). So it does work in P3D.

The Phenom uses FSX/P3D internal database so maybe the problem is an error in there.
